The U.S. economy had a lot going for it even six weeks ago. But since the rapid rise in COVID-19 infections, and the measures in place to slow the spread, the economy has nearly ground to a halt. In a strong economy, some workplace initiatives that companies work so hard to make front and center will now take a back seat, temporarily, at least.
