Omnicom Group’s digital and customer relationship management specialist Omnicom Precision Marketing Group has acquired a majority stake in mar-tech and ecommerce management and technology consultancy Credera.
“Credera has become a trusted business advisor to change leaders across an impressive roster of B2B and consumer companies,” OPMG CEO Luke Taylor said in a statement.
Headquartered in Dallas and with offices in Houston and Denver, Credera launched in 1999 and currently employs around 300 people. Credera’s clients include Southwest Airlines, National Geographic, NRG, HomeAdvisor and EmployBridge.
“Omnicom is an excellent strategic and cultural fit that gives us direct access to a much larger client base, suite of services and talent,” said Credera chairman and CEO Rob Borrego, who will continue to lead Credera.
The acquisition follows the launch in July of Omnicom Media Group’s marketing and insights platform Omni, as well as Omnicom Group streamlining its design and consulting offerings Brand Consulting Group in April.
“[Credera brings] a unique depth of program management and technology consulting expertise that is highly focused and complimentary to the existing OPMG service offering,” Taylor said.
