Digital strategy consultancy TLGG is expanding to the U.S. with an office in the New York hub of parent company Omnicom.

The move will allow TLGG to offer its digital strategy, business model innovation and organizational development consulting services to U.S. clients. Katrin Zimmermann will lead the New York office’s operations and clients as managing director, reporting to founder and CEO Christoph Bornschein, who is based out of TLGG’s Berlin headquarters.

“Our expansion into the U.S. allows TLGG to deliver its proven digital transformation skills to clients across the Omnicom network and well beyond,” Bornschein said in a statement. “With companies’ increasing need for innovative digital change seen across the globe, expanding to the U.S. was a natural evolution for TLGG, and no one is better suited to lead this presence than Katrin.”

Prior to joining TLGG, Zimmermann served as director of business innovation for Lufthansa, where she co-created the Lufthansa Innovation Hub, ranked as the top digital hub in Germany.

“I am looking forward to leading the development of TLGG’s U.S. offering, supported by an incredible team full of diverse and interdisciplinary talents,” Zimmermann said in a statement. “And our collaboration with our European colleagues will facilitate the exchange of knowledge and resources to our clients.”

The new office marks a new stage of growth for TLGG, which also recently hired consultants Alana Stein, Charles Plaisimond and Klara Marie Schroeder, business manager Zoe Yu and Kira Peikoff as editor-in-chief of leapsmag, a media venture TLGG launched for client Bayer. Omnicom’s DAS Group unit acquired TLGG in February of 2015.
