Airline safety briefings were already quite long-winded affairs before the Covid-19 era, and new health guidelines have only made them more densely packed with information. But now, in a move unlike anything that’s come out of the travel industry since its collapse in March, Alaska Airlines has found a way to add a dollop of nostalgia that makes its expanded safety protocols easier to digest.
