Bill Lynn Returns to Hill, Holliday

BOSTON-Bill Lynn has returned to Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos as executive vice president and managing director of the interactive division.

For a year Lynn had been EVP/director of marketing with Bullhorn Inc., an Internet company linking clients with freelance creative professionals. Earlier he was a senior media strategy executive at Hill, Holliday, a Boston-based unit of the Interpublic Group.

Lynn is charged with rebuilding the interactive unit, which for all practical purposes ceased to exist in late 1999 when its staff and clients merged with other IPG holdings to form Zentropy Partners, a Cambridge, Mass., i-shop that has endured staff cuts and client losses in recent months.

Recently, Hill, Holliday’s interactive projects have included creating Web banners for Lycos that appear as video ads atop Boston-area taxi cabs.
