Heinz Reviews Frozen Foods Brands

NEW YORK Heinz is contacting agencies about creative duties on its Ore-Ida, Smart Ones and Bagel Bites brands, sources said. Spending is estimated at $15 million.

Those brands had been handled by Omnicom’s DDB in San Francisco. Last month, however, that shop landed $15-20 million in Banquet Foods business from Heinz rival ConAgra, thereby leading to a split with Heinz and the search for a new agency, sources said.

New York consultancy Roth Associates is managing the search for the Pittsburgh client. Roth did not return calls and the client could not immediately be reached.
