Investment company Internet Capital Group (ICG), Wayne, Pa., will make a $30 million investment in of Burlingame, Calif. is an online marketplace for buying advertising on television and radio. This marks ICG’s first investment in the media industry.

Pet goods e-tailer inked an exclusive e-commerce, advertising and programming agreement with lesbian and gay affinity portal, both San Francisco. The partnership will establish as’s exclusive Internet pet supply, services and products e-tailer and pet content provider. In addition, a co-branded site will be built especially for the Network.

Media Metrix, New York, the Internet traffic measurement company, and its subsidiary MMXI Europe reported that U.S. Internet users visited more than 30 sites in 15 countries outside the United States last November. They visited portals, free e-mail services and entertainment sites based in countries including Australia, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan and the UK
