TV Guide Channel Bypasses Atlanta, Dallas Contenders

M&C Saatchi has landed the $4 million TV Guide Channel ad business, one of four account wins that bring an estimated $40 million in new billings.
Fricks/Firestone in Atlanta and Square One in Dallas came up short in the agency review conducted by the Tulsa, Okla.-based guide to television programming. The guide is available on most cable television and satellite systems.
The New York shop also landed two other accounts: Gobi.com, a Internet service provider in New York, and Pittsburgh-based OnlineChoice.com, which helps consumers negotiate lower utility prices.
In conjunction with its Hong Kong office, M&C Saatchi will work on tactical advertising for Mandarin Oriental’s U.S. hotels.
