To Promote Its New Streaming Service, a Brewery Launched Parody Site Beer.Porn

For those with only one thing on their minds

In the Instagram era, it’s become pretty easy to tack “porn” after any food, drink or hobby, but one British brewing company is taking the trope a big step further.

Scottish craft brewer BrewDog has booked Beer.porn and packed it with cheeky (but sfw) videos, all as a promotion for its recently launched paid streaming content service called The BrewDog Network. The real streaming service, priced at $4.99 a month, currently features 14 series built around what co-founder James Watt describes as “beer and spirits, food and travel, and everything in between.”

The arouse a little interest in this programming, the brewery created its Beer Porn site, modeled closely after popular adult site Pornhub.

Here’s a look at the site design:

The network will be running ads for the parody site on the actual Pornhub, with the banners featuring slow-mo eruptions of beer foam and the line, “I’d rather be watching Beer Porn.”

What kind of videos will you find on Beer.porn? Well, in reality it’s just a bunch of mild trailers for the BrewDog Network’s shows, such as The Nerdy Bartender, Are You Smarter Than a Drunk Person? and Craft Beer Adventure Club.

But of course they had a bit more fun with the titles of the adult-themed videos, such as “Perfect buns meet perfect head” (obviously about a gourmet burger-beer combo) and “Master nut eater proves he can fit them all in his mouth” (a truly uncomfortable experiment that seems to have been created specifically for porn parody pun purposes).

“Just as Netflix has pioneered mainstream streaming services, The BrewDog Network will be the first globally recognized, passion-focused platform,” co-founder Watt says. “We believe craft beer can be the inspiration for the most popular content on the internet–maybe even more popular than videos of cats falling off walls or celebrity sex tapes.”
