Is This Vertigo-Inducing Ikea Ad for Real?

Swedish agency dials up the visual trickery

Headshot of David Griner

Here's a fun and occasionally mind-bending spot for Ikea, coming to us from the brand's Swedish homeland. At first blush, I assumed it was yet another "Sø mäny dråwers!" kind of ad, but it actually promotes the furniture retailer's increased selection of appliances. The spot was created by Stockholm agency Forsman & Bodenfors, though somehow I doubt their sincerity when they say, "No tricks, everything you see is for real." Via The Inspiration Room.
