Apple employees, App developers and everyone in between. Get ready!
During an interview today with HuffPost Live’s Roy Sekoff, Chelsea Handler touched on the topics she plans to cover next year on Netflix. In between her comedy special Uganda Be Kidding Me, debuting tomorrow, and the talk show reboot in 2016, Handler will produce and anchor four one-hour 2015 specials:
“We’ve been in New York, meeting with all these producers and kind-of documentarians,” Handler explained. “It’s not going to be serious; I’m not a journalist. But I want to have somebody who’s really good in that world, and combine it with my world. And then I think we can come up with something amazing. And then I’ll be so interested in my job. I can’t even believe how interested I am, already.”
Handler, looking happy and rested, said that for the moment the only certain topic is Silicon Valley. Wall Street is also most likely going to be a focus; other possible docu-comedy topics include the NBA draft and NASCAR.
During this wide-ranging HuffPost Live conversation, Handler also had some provocative things to say about the reporting of New York Times TV writer Bill Carter, near-hosting Saturday Night Live, her playful variation on photo bombing and the notion of 21st century feminism. Great interview.
