Did you know that you can create and share polls in your Facebook Stories posts? Our guide will show you how this is done.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Facebook application on iOS.

Step 1:  Tap “Add to Story” near the top of your Facebook News Feed to go to the Facebook Stories camera.

Step 2: Tap or tap and hold the capture button at the bottom of the screen to take a new photo or video, respectively. You can also tap the camera roll icon to the right of the capture button to import a photo or video from your device.

Step 3: Tap the Stickers button at the top of the screen.

Step 4: Tap the “Poll” sticker.

Step 5: Type the question or prompt that you want your friends to respond to. Note: You can leave the question area blank if you just want your contacts to respond to what they’re seeing in your post’s photo or video.

Step 6 (optional): By default, the poll’s responses will be “Yes” and “No.” Tap these words if you want to change them.

Step 7: When you’re done creating the poll, tap “Done” in the top-right corner of the screen.

From there, you can rotate, resize and drag the poll sticker around the screen to best fit your post before sharing it.
