Facebook added four new features to Facebook Stories: the ability to start a group conversation about them on Messenger, Reactions, two new interactive stickers and the ability to view Messenger responses without leaving Stories.

When someone taps the reply bar of a friend’s Story, they will now be able to add other friends to the conversation and launch group threads on Messenger.

The creator of the Story cannot be removed from the reply.

The same Reactions that are available in Facebook’s News Feed can now be used within Stories.

Facebook also introduced flame and laughing smiley face interactive stickers for Stories. Tapping on them will cause them to shimmer, and the creator of the Story will be notified when their friends do so.

Finally, replies to Stories on Messenger will be added to the friends feed at the bottom of Stories, so the Story creator can view the reply and start a conversation on Messenger without leaving Stories.

On a related note, small business and Facebook marketing expert Mari Smith shared an image of a Selfie mode Facebook is testing in its Stories camera, with a Soft Focus option, with social and digital media consultant Matt Navarra.
