FP Snags Nightline Producer Dianna Pierce

Looks like FP’s full-speed ramp up efforts are going as planned. In a memo obtained by FBDC, Foreign Policy Publisher Amer Yaqub announced the hire of Nightline Producer Dianna Pierce:

I am thrilled to announce that Dianna Pierce has joined FP as our new Marketing and Public Relations Manager.
Dianna brings a wide range of experience and accomplishments to this role. Most recently, Dianna worked for more than ten years at ABC News/Nightline in various positions leading up to Senior Live Segment Producer. During this tenure, she won five Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award and the Thurgood Marshall Journalism Award. Before that, Dianna worked as a researcher at U.S. News & World Report preparing David Gergen’s weekly columns/speeches. She continued her work with Mr. Gergen at the State Department and the White House where she served as his special assistant for eighteen months. At the White House, among many highlights, she was responsible for the press advance for Presidential trips to Latvia, G-7 meetings in Italy and NATO talks in Brussels. The icing on the cake is that she has been a loyal FP reader for many years!
Dianna has a degree from Boston College in English/Human Development and just returned from living in South Africa for three years. She and her husband live in Washington D.C. with their four year old daughter.
Please join me in welcoming Dianna to the FP family and please introduce yourself to her when you can.
