Google’s Gboard Keyboard App Now Lets iOS Users Search Maps, YouTube

The keyboard app now allows users to search for YouTube videos to share with friends

Google released an update for its Gboard keyboard application on iOS, making it easier for users to share locations and YouTube videos with their friends.

With this update, users can tap the “G” button in the top-left corner of the keyboard’s interface, and then tap Maps to share their current location or search for a location to share.

Similarly, users can tap the G button and then tap YouTube to search for a YouTube video to share with their contacts without leaving the current app.

Elsewhere, users can now draw and share pictures from within the keyboards. Specifically, users can tap the emoji button, and then tap the pen icon to draw a picture they can share.

Finally, Gboard now supports three new languages: Arabic, Hebrew and Farsi.

The Gboard keyboard app is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store. In addition to these features, the keyboard app allows users to search Google and share search results within conversations without leaving their current app.
