Hearst Magazines Digital Media has named John Sellers site director of Esquire.com and Thomas Houston site director of PopularMechanics.com.
Sellers most recently worked for New York as senior editor of Vulture.com. Prior to his time at New York, he worked at Time Out New York, The Wrap and more. Houston was a founding editor of The Verge. Most recently he served as assistant managing editor.
Sellers begins October 20 and Houston starts today. Both report to Kate Lewis, VP, content operations and editorial director of Hearst Magazines Digital Media.
