Here Are the Brands and Organizations That Won in the 11th Annual Shorty Awards

The ceremony will take place in New York May 5

The winners in the brands and organizations categories for the 11th Annual Shorty Awards were unveiled Wednesday morning.

The ceremony will take place at the Playstation Theater in New York’s Times Square Sunday, May 5.

Gregory Galant, co-founder of the Shorty Awards and CEO of MuckRack, said in a statement, “We saw a big increase in the use of artificial intelligence, augmented reality and 360 video with this year’s entries. I think it will only continue to increase in popularity every year.”

He added, “A big portion of the winning entries featured long-form video (videos with a length of two minutes or more), and this tool is clearly resonating with audiences and continues to be a big trend. We saw some standout campaigns and work submitted by the travel and tourism sector. We noticed that brands and boards in travel and tourism are getting even more creative with the work they produce to help them attracting visitors.”

He also noted this year’s record number of international entries from countries including Iceland, Saint Lucia, Qatar, Uruguay, South Africa, the Czech Republic and the Philippines.
