Donald Trump has taken to Instagram to launch a new attack ad against Hillary Clinton, criticizing how the former secretary of state handed the 2012 attack against the U.S. consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi.
The ad was released on Tuesday along with the caption "Hillary has bad judgment!," featuring the victim's families and edited footage from the attack overlayed by Hillary laughing. The video then ends with "Never Forget!" in large white letters over a black background.
The ad appeared hours before Trump—the only remaining Republican presidential candidate—won primary contests in West Virginia and Nebraska. Clinton lost in both states to rival Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders. This is the second time Trump has used footage of Clinton laughing along with video from the attacks.
The context for the video dates back to Clinton's initial claims that the attack was inspired by protests after an anti-Muslim video was posted online. However, the U.S. State Department later said the attacks that killed four Americans were premeditated.
Last week, Clinton posted an attack ad on Trump to Twitter and Facebook that used his fellow Republican's insults to highlight the challenge the billionaire faces to unite the party before the Republican National Convention this summer.
