Facebook has been invited to the House Party, as the social media marketing outfit now supports brand pages on the social network.
House Party brings together digital media, word-of-mouth marketing, and brand-inspired in-home events, and the company claims that its campaigns that have integrated Facebook have brought brands increases of up to three times in likes and up to 10 times in talking about this.
The platform allows users to choose from lists of parties, products, and brands to create their events, and then provides tools to invite people and promote the occasions.
House Party Chief Executive Officer Chris Maher said:

Brands are looking for ways to drive high-quality activity on their Facebook pages — not to just increase their likes. By bringing the combined offering of House Party’s memorable in-home experiences and its passionate member-based community to Facebook, we’re creating a unique opportunity for brands to truly engage consumers within their own social community.

Chief Technology Officer Mike Hermus added:

By allowing users to fully participate in the House Party experience without ever leaving the brand’s Facebook page, we’re seeing brands generate genuine recommendations and unmatched earned media.

Anchored by thousands of in-home events happening across the country, our campaigns give brand advocates an authentic reason to fuel conversations, upload photos and videos, and participate in polls and contests.
