Instagram for Business: How to Set a Minimum Age for Different Countries

Create limits that apply to specific areas

Did you know that Instagram allows users with business accounts to set a minimum age for their content? This means that users need to be a certain age before being able to view their posts. While you can set a default minimum age that applies to everyone around the world, you can also set different minimum ages for different countries. Our guide will show you how this works.

Step 1: On your profile, tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Settings.”

Step 3: Tap “Business.”

Step 4: Tap “Minimum Age.”

Step 5: Tap “Add” to the right of “By Country.”

Step 6: Tap the country you wish to set a minimum age for.

Step 7: Type the age you want to set.

Step 8: If you want to set a minimum age for another country, tap “Add” to the right of “By Country” to repeat this process. Or, if you’re done entering ages, tap “Done” in the top-right corner of the screen.
