LinkedIn: Here’s How to Name an Existing Group Conversation

Did you know LinkedIn allows you to name your group conversations? For instance, if you have multiple conversations containing your coworkers, you may wish to name these conversations to keep track of each one’s topic. You have the option to name a group conversation when you first create it, and you can also name existing conversations. Our guide will show you how to name (or rename) an existing conversation in the LinkedIn mobile application.

Step 1: Tap the Messages icon at the bottom of the screen to go to your message inbox.

Step 2: Tap the group conversation you wish to name.

Step 3: Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 4: Tap “Rename conversation.” Note: On Android, tap the “Edit” icon.

Step 5: Type a name for your conversation.

Step 6: Tap “Done” on your device’s keyboard.
