Martha Stewart Café will open in the Starrett-Lehigh Building in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood, where the domestic maven’s company headquarters are located. Café managers now are hiring baristas, according to Claudia Shaum, a spokeswoman for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSO:US) Inc.
According to Gilblom, no word yet on whether any of the featured foods will be based on recipes by the joint’s capital-M namesake. In an interview with Closer magazine at the beginning of the year, Stewart hinted this would be happening.
