MSG Network, Led by Jeremy Lin, Surges on All Platforms

Whether you call it “Linsanity” or the “Lin Effect,” it’s called big numbers for MSG Network.

The Knicks have rolled off five straight wins led by breakout star Jeremy Lin. Fans can’t get enough of the Asian-American player, and MSG is shining in Lin’s spotlight.

Saturday night’s game at the Timberwolves scored a season high 4.17 Nielsen Household rating.

Through four games–and four wins–that Lin has been the starting point guard, the Household rating has spiked 70 percent compared to the previous 20 games.

The Knicks have also seen an unprecendented jump in web traffic and social media in the past week. From February 5 to 12, and have increased more than 550 percent from the previous week, reaching 4.7 million page views, the highest week-to-week increase in the site’s history.
