Users can turn on this option within the app’s settings menu, which can be accessed by tapping the people icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen, and then tapping the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. From there, users can scroll down and tap on the settings button to open the settings menu.
The Periscope app warns users that saving their broadcasts in HD “will result in more battery and disk usage.”
The Periscope app is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store.
