Pinterest began rolling out a redesign of its business profiles last week in a process that it said will take a couple of months.

The redesigned business profile includes a dynamic cover image, which enables brands to highlight the content they want people to see first. Head of content and creator products David Temple wrote in a blog post, “You can show your latest Pins, pick a specific board to spotlight or just focus on the most recent Pinterest activity from your site. Whatever option you pick, we’ll make sure the Pins in your cover image are always the latest and greatest.”

Pinterest also added a monthly viewers statistic to the top of business profiles, displaying the total number of people who saw that profile’s Pins over the past 30 days.

Finally, Temple reminded administrators of business profiles about the following tab Pinterest introduced last month, writing, “Your followers are your biggest fans on Pinterest, and they’re the first to see your ideas. They’re also first to weigh in on which content they love most. The more they engage with one of your Pins, the more it gets shown in other places across Pinterest—like search results, feeds and recommendations—for millions of other Pinners to discover. The following tab also has built-in ways for people to find new profiles to follow, which helps you build an even bigger, more engaged audience on Pinterest.”
