Responding to comments made by Senator Marco Rubio yesterday, Senator Rand Paul took to Twitter today to strike back at his colleague.
On “The Kelly File” last evening, Rubio had told Megyn Kelly that Paul has “no idea what he’s talking about” when it comes to Cuba. The senator from Kentucky fired back with this:
Paul, who was critical of Cuba isolationists in a TIME op-ed, continued his assault on Rubio’s foreign policy views.
Citing an NPR poll showing the nuances of Cuban-American views on U.S.-Cuba relations, Paul wrote:
Rubio, the son of Cuban immigrants, has been fervent in his opposition to lifting sanctions on Cuba and the Castro regime by the United States.
