The contest runs through May 19 Lionsgate/Snapchat

Snapchat and Lionsgate are marking the May 17 theatrical release of feature film John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum with a contest in which fans will create their own augmented reality art using Lens Studio.

Starting Friday, Snapchatters can open Lens Studio—Snap Inc.’s free desktop application, which enables people to create, build and publish AR experiences as lenses on Snapchat—and then go to this site to download graphics, emojis and other assets from the John Wick franchise.

Once fans create and publish their lenses, they will receive Snapcodes enabling them to use those lenses on Snapchat and share them with other users.

Fans can also check out lenses created by other fans here.

Taking things one step further, fans can create Snaps using their lenses and send them to the Lionsgate Movies Snapchat account to enter them in the Art of Wick AR Contest for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind grand prize: a real, solid gold Continental Coin from John Wick (valued at $1,500). And John Wick prize packs will go to 25 additional winners.

The contest runs through May 19, and the official rules can be found here.

Lionsgate teamed up with several Lens Creators to demonstrate potential uses of Lens Studio for creating John Wick art, including:
