Snapchatters can now play dress-up with their Bitmoji.
The messaging application debuted what it called a “much-requested” feature Monday, Mix and Match, enabling users to customize the outfits worn by their Bitmoji.
Snapchat said there are billions of possible combinations of styles and colors of tops, bottoms, footwear, socks and outerwear.
Custom outfits can be saved to Snapchatters’ closets so that they can be used again.
Mix and Match began rolling out Monday to Android and iOS users worldwide.
To access Mix and Match via Snapchat, users can tap their profile in the top left corner. Under Bitmoji, tapping Change Outfit will open the Avatar Designer. The bottom navigation bar will contain new icons for each piece of clothing, which can separately be selected and customized.
Tapping the fashion icon in the Bitmoji app will also enable users to access the Avatar Designer.
Snapchat is also offering up to 20% off its Bitmoji Merch option which enables Snapchatters to bring their Bitmoji into the real world in the form of items such as T-shirts, mugs and sweats.
Bitmoji Merch can be accessed via the Snapchat app (iOS only) by tapping the Bitmoji in the upper-left-hand corner to access the profile screen, and then tapping Bitmoji Merch to access the Snap Store.
Tapping the shop icon in the Bitmoji app will also bring users to the feature.
