Did you know that Snapchat allows you to add a timer to your Snaps, which determines how long your friends can view them? For instance, you can add a five-second timer to a photo Snap, so that they can only view the picture for five seconds. Our guide will show you how this works.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the Snapchat application on iOS.
Step 1: Once you’ve taken a photo or video Snap, tap the stopwatch icon on the right side of the screen. Note: You can also edit old Snaps that are stored in your Memories.
Step 2: Swipe downward to choose a time limit of one to 10 seconds. By default, there is no time limit.
Step 3: Tap the back arrow (“<“) in the top-left corner of the screen to set the timer and continue editing your post.
