Pundits love to make big predictions for the year to come, and those working in the world of social media marketing are certainly no exception. So, how did well did they do with their forecasts in 2014?
Offerpop looked back at the top predictions from marketing experts in early 2014 and surveyed more than 100 digital marketers to find out which predictions came true.
And the results? Something of a mixed bag, with only two of the big five predictions – that brands will leverage social data to gain insights about customers, and that brands will integrate email marketing with social media – coming true.
