After the announcement of Zynga-branded board games, Hasbro’s Hungry Hungry Hippos jumped all the way to the No. 2 spot on the top free iPhone apps chart and No. 9 on iPad. Starbucks‘ inclusion of support for iOS 6’s Passbook feature vaulted the app from the No. 46 position to No. 13. Frontier Developments’ LostWinds landed the No. 1 spot on the top free iPad apps chart thanks to a sale making the title free. Also, the continued lack of YouTube support on iPad makes way for alternative video watching apps including the brand new YouTube browser app YouPlayer, which ranked No. 2 on iPad.
The only major change on the top free Android apps chart this was the inclusion of Rovio’s Bad Piggies making cracking into the top 25 at the No. 11 spot.
