TikTok Teamed Up With the ASPCA on a National Dog Day Initiative

The app will donate $1 for every video with the #PetBFF hashtag, up to $75,000

Every day is National Dog Day in households that include furry friends, but the “official” date is next Monday, Aug. 26, and video-creation application TikTok teamed up with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on the #PetBFF initiative.

TikTok will donate $1 to the ASPCA, up to a total of $75,000, for every video posted to its platform with the #PetBFF hashtag through Thursday (Aug. 22).
