Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard pull off a cute, holiday ad for Samsung to grab the No. 1 slot on this week's Adweek/VidIQ top branded video chart.
The new ad is a follow-up to the couple's "What You Really Need" spot in September that promoted the Galaxy Tab S. This time, though, the ad stars a much more pregnant Bell who uses Samsung's devices to show her husband how holiday decorations should look while Shepard lovingly abides. Besides using a phone to control Christmas lights and turn on a TV, Shepard leaves the house to find tiny pickles for his craving wife.
The 90-second video has been watched 13.7 million times since it was uploaded on Nov. 30, including more than 860 shares across Facebook and Twitter.
Meanwhile, several of this week’s videos are repeats from last week. Turkish Airlines' spot with Lionel Messi and Didier Drogba grabs the No. 3 ranking (it has been watched 60.5 million times), while Google's new spots for Nexus and Chromecast also make the chart.
Newcomers this week include a three-minute video from the du Channel celebrating United Arab Emirates' 43rd National Day and a video from soccer team FC Barcelona challenging players Messi and Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior to kick a soccer ball in the air as long as possible.

The chart tracks more than just pure views, as VidIQ incorporates sharing data from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, among other data sources, in an effort to measure true engagement. Every video is also ranked with VidIQ’s proprietary Score, which helps judge the likelihood of a video being promoted in YouTube Related Videos, Search and Recommended Videos.
