Twitter launched a series of hashtag-triggered emojis for the Games, and they are available in seven languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean and Arabic.
And while the Paralympic torch is still en route to the Maracana stadium for the Opening Ceremony Wednesday night, Twitter users can tweet with the #ChamaParalimpica and #Igualdade hashtags to power the torch and view heat maps of tweets from every region on the event’s official website.
