Tweaks are coming to Twitter.com, and users who receive opt-in messages can be part of the first group to preview them.

Twitter said (via tweet, naturally) that features being added to its web experience include an emoji button, quick keyboard shortcuts, updates to its Trends for You section and improvements to search.

The redesigned Twitter.com comes on the heels of the social network’s news from CES earlier this month that it will begin testing a host of new features for users and publishers, including redesigned threads and Facebook-like statuses and indicators informing followers when people are online.
