The Dallas Cowboys continued their National Football League season-long dominance on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Social marketing firm Unmetric analyzed all of the NFL teams on the three social networks from Nov. 29 through Dec. 19, using its cross-channel reports, and it found that the Cowboys retained their lead in Facebook audience size and once again finished first in Facebook engagement, Twitter growth, Twitter engagement and Instagram growth.

Other findings by Unmetric included:

  • Fellow 12-2 team the New England Patriots had a strong three weeks, as well, leading in audience size on Twitter and Instagram, as well as Instagram engagement.
  • The Oakland Raiders posted the most growth on Facebook, likely helped by the team clinching its first playoff berth since 2002.
  • The Raiders also posted the most on Facebook, while the Green Bay Packers were the most prolific on Twitter, and the most active club on Instagram was the Miami Dolphins.
  • The Cowboys tallied the most likes across the three social networks, as well as the most comments on Facebook and Twitter, with the New York Giants taking the Instagram comments title.
