In less than a year, Instagram has gathered a community of more than 10 million iPhone using people. With such success on a single platform and a core team that can be counted on the fingers of two hands with fingers to spare, it isn’t surprising that they have not tried to conquer Android too. This left a vacuum that Flickr, the original social photo site, is trying to fill.
