What's the first information you consume in the morning?

I just Google myself, see if there's any news out there, get on Twitter and look around. It's weird, that's where I get my news now. Like when [ESPN anchor] Stuart Scott died, I actually found that out through LeBron James' Twitter. We had an earthquake here in L.A. a few months back, which woke me up from my sleep, so I hopped online and looked at Twitter, and it was just, "Earthquake, earthquake, earthquake … Yep, that's it."

Who do you follow?

Other comedians like Chris D'Elia, Rick Glassman, but also a lot of people that aren't in my industry. I'm a huge L.A. Clippers fan, so I follow Blake Griffin. It's pretty rad how you're able to connect with your fans through Twitter, but also, all of a sudden, my idols are hitting me up too. Like during Comic-Con a couple of years ago, Blake Griffin messaged me on Twitter, and I almost shat my pants. I just kept yelling, "Blake Griffin is my homeboy!" all night.

How are your Workaholics fans different from your Pitch Perfect fans on Twitter?

With the Workaholics fans, they'll tweet me like, "If you ever come through Boston, man, we're smoking weed!" The Pitch Perfect fans are more like, "Oh, you look so cute in that shirt!" I'm like, how do you even know what I'm wearing right now?

What social media do you use other than Twitter?

I've gotten more into Instagram lately. It's fun to see into people's lives. I like Usher, so I follow him—'cause I'm a song and dance man at heart, let's be real—and it's cool that when he goes on tour you get to go on tour with him. Kevin Hart has a really cool account, too. I'm like, you guys are a thousand times more famous than me, and I barely find time to post stuff. I don't know how they do it.

What's your favorite app?

I love using Yelp. I use it for restaurants, bars, everything. You can look at the menu before you get there. When I go to restaurants, I'm not into the whole pregame of "Let's sit down and have cocktails and appetizers first." I want all the food and I want it right now.

What TV shows do you watch?

I think because I'm in the comedy business, I actually watch a lot less comedy than I used to. I like Game of Thrones, Mad Men; I was really into Breaking Bad, Homeland. I didn't see 24 when it first aired, so I just binge-watched the first few seasons of that.

What's on your reading list?

I have a few friends who have books that are out, like Grace's Guide: The Art of Pretending to Be a Grown-Up by Grace Helbig. Truthfully, though, I tend to just read a lot of scripts.

How do you wind down before bed?

Lately I've just been finding myself in an Instagram hole at night. It's a total time-suck. I'll be like, "I'm going to be really good and go to bed before midnight," and cut to 2 a.m. and I'm on Instagram looking at photos of an ex-girlfriend. Or a future ex-girlfriend.
